alligator, nevertheless need to be constantly guarded, as the Sigil
Underground contains a wide variety of dangerous threats. Any adventurer
wishing to become an honorary citizen of Althaman is asked to stand guard at
the gates for a while. This task is typically uneventful and boring and
serves to give the guards a break from the monotony.
